Club Statement: 49-Point, 312-Inch Potential State Record Buck
The Wisconsin Buck & Bear Club has issued an official statement on the 49-point, 312-inch potential state record buck. Read the club’s full statement (PDF).
Pope & Young Entry-Level Change
Pope and Young has lowered the number of abnormal points required for a Non-Typical whitetail deer from 15″ to 10″, and the minimum entry score from 155″ to 145″. Crossbow Non-Typical entries share the 145″ minimum, with no required amount of abnormal inches — the hunter decides whether a trophy is entered as Typical or Non-Typical. These changes are effective immediately, and the Wisconsin Buck & Bear Club follows the same procedures.
